GOOD DAY! We are Downeast Duck Adventures. We offer an entertaining historical adventure of Portland, Maine on an Amphibious Vessel. Our vessels seat 49 people and we board our adventures at the top of Long Wharf, located on Commercial Street by DiMillo's Floating Restaurant. We are Maine's only amphibious adventure that can show you Portland by land and sea without ever leaving your seat. Come aboard and QUACK UP with us!

• The vessel seats 49 people.
• Groups & Charter Rates do not include Guide Gratuity.
• Group Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of reservation date.

Payment:
• Charters require a $100.00 non-refundable deposit at time of confirmation.
• A group headcount and final payment is due one week prior to reservation date.

Before Your Adventure!
Payment
Payment in full is required one week prior your tour. We accept Master Card, Visa, Cash and Checks.
Final Head Counts
Charters can seat up to 49 people.
For groups only - Final head counts are required one week prior to your tour. If you have any last minute
additional passengers you must notify group sales at 207-233-9060 as soon as possible to see if available seating is available. If you show up with additional people with out calling prior we can not guarantee available seating. If you show up with less than the confirmed passenger count, we will not refund your payment.
Please note for boarding we have a ladder with 7 steps and handrails. Passengers must be able to physically access the ladder.
Arrival Time
Arrive at your assigned pick up spot 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. It is very important to plan ahead for prior restroom trips and unexpected delays. Should your group arrive late we will be forced to abbreviate or cancel your tour with no refund so that we may meet our remaining tour obligations.
Important Boarding and Tour Information
Your confirmation will serve as your admission.
Downeast Duck Vessels are not equipped with restrooms. Restrooms are available at the Greater Portland Visitor’s Center at 245 Commercial Street, two blocks away. Please allocate enough time for a restroom break before your tour.
Handicap Accessibility
All Downeast Duck Vessels are not wheelchair accessible. However, if the person can physically access our ladder, our Customer Service Ambassador will store the wheelchair for the duration of the tour.
Inclement Weather
Downeast Duck Vessels have 49 seats, all of which can be enclosed. Tours are only cancelled in the event of high winds/seas. If Downeast Duck Adventures cancels a tour prior to starting the tour a refund will granted. Refunds will not be granted if your group/charter cancels for any reason.
Dress
Our vessels are not heated, however once enclosed can become very warm. Groups should dress appropriately for the day’s weather. In Maine, the weather can change very quickly, we suggest layering.
When You Arrive
Group Drop Off
Please drop group off at Long Wharf located on Commercial Street (DiMillo‘s Floating Restaurant area). Buses may drop off directly in front of Long Wharf on Commercial Street. A Downeast Duck Ambassador will greet you when you are dropped off with line up instructions.
Bus Instructions:
If your group has made arrangements to be picked up by the Downeast Duck at an alternate location please make arrangements with that facility for drop off instructions.
Boarding will begin 15 minutes prior to your tour and will leave promptly at your scheduled tour time. If your group only partially fills the duck and you have not chartered the duck, the other seats will be available for the public. However, we will reserve group seating in order for you all to sit together.
Restrooms…again!

Downeast Duck Adventures reserves the right to terminate the tour of any group for unruly behavior. No refunds will be granted in such instances.
